Les candidatures se font uniquement sur l’application ministérielle ODYSSEE du mardi 3 mars 2026 à 10h au vendredi 3 avril 2026 à 16h (heure de Paris).
Les travaux des commissions se dérouleront entre le 7 avril et fin mai (dates définies par l’université).

2. Atelier Journées SF2A : “S14 – Astrophysical foregrounds for precision cosmology”, 22-26 juin 2026, Grenoble, France

Supported by ATCG and GDR CoPhy, we are organising an atelier (i.e. parallel session) during the Société Française d’astronomie et d’Astrophysique (SF2A) annual meeting that will take place from June 22nd to June 26th in Grenoble.
This session aims to bring together researchers working at the interface of cosmology and astrophysics to discuss the characterisation, modelling, mitigation, and scientific exploitation of foreground signals. Building on growing cross-disciplinary efforts within the French community, the session will be organised around four themes:
- Our Galaxy as a foreground
- Extragalactic Foregrounds
- Disentangling the multi-frequency sky – Component separation methods
- Multi-Wavelength Synergies and Joint Inference
We welcome contributions (talks + posters) on any of these four themes. Details on registration and abstract submission can be found here (this is done via the website MaSF2A). Deadline for abstract submission is April 10th.

3. Atelier Journées SF2A : “S20 – AstroWinds: Origins and Impact of Winds in Astrophysical Systems”, 22-26 juin 2026, Grenoble, France

We are pleased to announce the session “S20 AstroWinds: Origins and Impact of Winds in Astrophysical Systems”, which will be held during the Société Française d’Astronomie et d’Astrophysique (SF2A) meeting on 22–26 June 2026 in Grenoble (France).
This session aims to bring together state-of-the-art multi-wavelength observations, theory, and modelling of winds in multiscale astrophysical systems, ranging from single objects to accreting systems.
Abstract submission is open, with a deadline of April 10th, 2026.
The session will be held entirely in English. We will also try to organise a Zoom connection for those who wish to attend remotely; please let us know if you would be interested in this option.
Our confirmed invited speakers are Sylvie Cabrit (LUX, France), Maxime Parra (Ehime University, Japan), Yohan Dubois (IAP, France), and Delphine Porquet (LAM, France). They will each present review talks on winds in young stellar objects, winds in X-ray binaries, feedback in galaxies, and winds in active galactic nuclei, respectively.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la tenue de la première école de l’Action Spécifique Numérique, entièrement dédiée aux codes HPC GPU pour les fluides astrophysiques.
Cet événement se déroulera du lundi 27 au jeudi 30 avril 2026 au Centre Blaise Pascal de l’ENS Lyon.
Objectifs de l’école:
Cette école vise à former les participants à l’utilisation de quatre codes phares dans le domaine :
- Dyablo. Intervenants : Maxime Delorme, Arnaud Durocher
- Idefix. Intervenant : Geoffroy Lesur
- Shamrock. Intervenants: Timothée David—Cléris
- Smilei. Intervenants: Arnaud Beck, Charles Prouveur
Chaque journée sera consacrée à un code, avec :
- Le matin : une présentation théorique et technique du code.
- L’après-midi : un atelier pratique (TP) de prise en main.
Public concerné
Cette formation s’adresse aux chercheuses, chercheurs, doctorantes, doctorants, post-doctorantes, post-doctorants, ingénieures et ingénieurs travaillant sur des problématiques liées aux fluides astrophysiques et souhaitant utiliser ces outils HPC GPU.

6. News from the AtLAST project

The year 2025 was highly productive for the AtLAST project. A major highlight for the French community was the successful AtLAST-Fr-Days workshop organized in Paris in May (https://atlast-fr-days.sciencesconf.org/?lang=en). The momentum continues into 2026, which promises to be an equally exciting year. Here are the latest updates on AtLAST:
27 AtLAST-related White Papers were submitted in December 2025 in response to the ESO Expanding Horizons call (https://next.eso.org/call-for-white-papers/). This clearly demonstrates the broad and transformative impact that AtLAST would have on astrophysics. The French community played a particularly strong role, leading 6 of these white papers and co-authoring another 6. The AtLAST team is organizing the Special Session 26 at EAS 2026, entitled “Planning the Future of Large-Scale (Sub-)mm Astrophysics”. This session will bring together the European (sub-)mm community to foster scientific and technical synergies around AtLAST (https://eas.unige.ch/EAS2026/session.jsp?id=SS26). If you are attending EAS 2026 in Lausanne, we strongly encourage you to participate. The session is scheduled for July 2 (afternoon) and July 3 (morning + lunch session), 2026.
The team of the EU-funded AtLAST2 project will meet in Madrid, Spain, from June 1-3, 2026. In addition, a workshop entitled “Mapping the Submillimeter Universe: Science and Technology for AtLAST” will be held at the Lorentz Center from August 3-7, 2026.
