1. Changement à la coordination de l’ATCG
—————————————————————————————-

4. Conference: “Conférence ELT-France 2027”, 26-28 Jan., 2027, ENS Lyon, France — Deadline for abstract submission 29 June!
—————————————————————————————-
Registration and abstract submission are open for the ELT-France 2027 conference, which will be held in Lyon (ENS) from January 26 to 28, 2027.
This meeting aims to bring together the French community interested in exploiting the capabilities of the ELT and its instruments, and to strengthen the structuring of the community around the major scientific themes that will be advanced by this facility. This meeting is open to all members of the community who may be interested in using this instrumental suite. Researchers who are not part of any consortium are particularly encouraged to participate, as are postdoctoral researchers and PhD students, who will be the future users of this telescope. All presentations and discussions will be held in English.
The programme will be organised around the key astrophysical themes of interest to our community, corresponding to the various “Actions Thématiques” (AT) of the PN ASTRO. Each session will include one to three invited talks reviewing the expected contributions of the ELT to the relevant themes, followed by contributed presentations selected from submitted abstracts, with the aim of fostering discussion and sharing new ideas.
The current deadline for abstract submission is Monday June 29, 2026.

5. Conference: “Cosmogold 2026 — 42nd IAP Symposium — A Cosmology Conference in Memory of Karim Benabed”, 14-18 Dec., 2026, IAP, Paris, France
—————————————————————————————-
The 42nd IAP Symposium, Cosmogold 2026, will be held at the Institut d’Astrophysique de Paris from 14 to 18 December 2026.
Following the successful IAP 35th Symposium “Cosmogold”, held in Paris in 2019, this second edition is dedicated to the memory of Karim Benabed, whose contributions to CMB science, Bayesian methodology, and the Planck collaboration have left a lasting mark on our community. Cosmogold 2026 will bring together researchers to take stock of where cosmology stands and to look ahead at the challenges and opportunities of the coming decade.
The conference is organized around four major themes, each featuring invited keynote talks, contributed talks, Fire Talks (3-minute focused presentations), and a dedicated open debate:
- CMB — From Planck’s legacy to the next generation of CMB experiments: LiteBIRD, SO, SPT, FOSSIL, and their foregrounds
- Large-Scale Structure — Euclid, DESI, DES, SPHEREx, and beyond
- Theory — Hubble tension, non-Gaussianities, dark matter and dark energy, modified gravity
- Numerical Methods — AI, simulations, and the future of data analysis in cosmology
Important Dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: 30 September 2026
- Registration deadline: 16 November 2026
Registration fees: 350 € (senior) · 250 € (junior/postdoc) · 50 € (remote attendance).

6. School: “Eleventh edition of the Indo-French Astronomical School (IFAS11)”, 2-8 Oct., 2026, Chateau de Goutelas near Lyon, France — Registration Open
—————————————————————————————-
Registration is now open for the eleventh edition of the Indo-French Astronomical School (IFAS11), hosted at the Chateau de Goutelas near Lyon, on October 2nd-8th 2026
IFAS11 is the eleventh edition of a series of schools co-organized by the University of Lyon (CRAL, CNRS UMR5574, LIO) and IUCAA in France and in Pune, India.
The IFAS11 school will bring together students from different horizons, expose them to high-level specialized lectures, and propose them to carry-on a six-days research project. The primary subject of the present school is IFU: 3D spectroscopy. The topics range from data-reduction techniques, data analysis and modelling. The school gives preference to doctoral students and to highly skilled and motivated master’s students, without geographic restrictions.
Lectures and hands-on data reduction tutorials will be given during the morning sessions, and research projects will be proposed to the participants, in smaller groups supported by a tutor. The school will be concluded by a presentation of the results of these projects. Around 20 participants will be selected.
